Empower Future is proud to share that the grants Liz and her family received helped Prosy and Junior start school. They were able to pay for their tuition, uniforms, school supplies, and food, to help them become successful students!
Uganda’s poor conditions have led many into biting poverty. Basic needs such as healthcare, education, and proper shelter are rare. Even food and water are achieved with much difficulty and often families are left to fend for themselves in rural environments. Yet, social issues leave many families broken up and separated, worsening the already brutal conditions.
Empower Future Foundation has been working to educate and feed elementary school children in Uganda. Whether we are working with orphaned children or refugees, Empower Future Foundation strives to meet the needs of vulnerable children with life-changing programs. Empower Future strives to support these families to fulfill our mission of creating better future for all by facilitating primary education.
A family that our foundation supports has been the recipient of many issues and unfortunate events; currently, they are barely hanging onto survival. Liz is the oldest in a family of 10 kids.Their parents have been imprisoned for over three years while awaiting trial. Despite her parents’ absence and lack of financial support, Liz courageously struggles to keep her family together and survive at the same time, juggling to find employment and provide comfort and education for her siblings.
Our organization is supporting her youngest two siblings Prosy (age) and Junior (age), so that she can be empowered lift her family out of poverty. Our grants are helping them go to school, cover supplies and other necessities.
